Maailma Kymissä -tapahtuma

Monikulttuurista Maailma Kymissä -tapahtumaa vietetään vuosittain elokuussa Karhulan torilla.

Järjestäjinä ovat Kotka-Kymin seurakunta, Kotkan kaupunki, Koskenrinne ja Kotona täälläkin -toiminta sekä Leader Sepra.

Mukana paikallisia esiintyjiä, musiikkia ja kansantansseja. Upeita kansallisasuja eri kulttuureista. Eri toimijoiden esittelyä. Myynnissä paistettua makkaraa.

The World in Kymi (Maailma Kymissä)

invites everyone to celebrate cultural diversity! Come and enjoy a joyful event on 22 August from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Karhula market square.

The programme includes music, dance, colourful national costumes, and warm encounters with people from different cultural backgrounds. Local performers will take the stage, and various associations and organisations will be there to present their activities.

The event will be hosted by Kerli Puusepp. Fried sausages and juice will be available for purchase.

It is a celebration of connection and community where everyone is welcome. Come and experience the sights, sounds, and atmosphere of cultures from around the world in the heart of Karhula!

The event is organized by the city of Kotka, the Kotka-Kymi parish, Leader Sepra/EUROPE DIRECT Kymenlaakso, and the Kotona täälläkin initiative of Koskenrinne association. The event is part of the Mielessä tuulee week held in Kotka.
